The Power of Synchronicity: How to Embrace Meaningful Coincidences in Your Life

The Power of Synchronicity: How to Embrace Meaningful Coincidences in Your Life

Have you ever experienced a moment where you randomly bumped into an old friend you were just thinking about? Or received a phone call from someone you were just thinking of calling? These types of events are often called coincidences or synchronicities, and they can have a profound impact on our lives.

Synchronicity is a concept that was first introduced by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung. He defined it as a meaningful coincidence that occurs without any apparent cause. Essentially, it's when two or more events happen in a way that seems to defy the laws of probability and suggests a deeper connection.

Understanding Shadow Projection: How Our Unconscious Beliefs Shape Our Perception of Others

Understanding Shadow Projection: How Our Unconscious Beliefs Shape Our Perception of Others

Projection is a complex psychological phenomenon that occurs when we unconsciously attribute to others the qualities or traits that we cannot or do not want to recognize in ourselves. This can happen in many areas of our lives, such as in our personal relationships, at work, in our communities, and even in our political views.

For example, if someone has an unconscious fear of being abandoned, they may project this fear onto their partner and perceive them as distant or uncaring, even if their partner is not behaving in that way. In reality, the person is projecting their own fear of abandonment onto their partner, which can lead to misunderstandings and conflict in the relationship.

Bath's Are Also Healing Chambers

There is nothing more healing than a high vibe bath.

Drawing a bath is an alchemical process.

When drawing a bath, the ingredients and intentions placed upon the bath are just as important as taking the time to take a bath.

Sometimes when I am at my most stressed, my husband will say, “Nina, I think you should take a bath.”

I look at him, with all my pent up energy, sigh, and say, “Your right, honey, I need a bath.”

Up to that point, I might have thought about it but resisted it in my mind.

Thinking, I am too busy and I don’t have time for it. However, when the words are spoken out loud in the voice my husband - it becomes a reason I cannot ignore.

As I prepare the bath, I go to YouTube and search for “Cleansing Meditation” or whatever beats best nurture me at the moment.

The music plays in the background, as the water begins to fill the tub.

Then is when the magic happens.

I stand over the tub and start to bring in my blessings.

I am thankful for all the blessings in my life.

I appreciate the ability to have this time to reflect.

To have this space, to nurture and heal.

I then start to put in the ingredients for my alchemical transformation - my natural detox bath:

1/4 cup Baking Soda

1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

1/2 cup of Epsom Salt

My favorite essential oils - lavender, frankincense, rose (to name a few)

I add in a few crystals - rose quartz, amethyst

I continue my blessings.

Every day is a miracle,

I constantly encounter nonstop opening doors

At this moment, I am releasing all energy not aligned with my highest purpose.

I have so much gratitude for being able to change the state of my body, by taking care of it and giving it the love and attention it needs.

As I lay back in the bath, I close my eyes and meditate.

I begin to release attachments to my thoughts and surrender in the bliss of this magical experience.

After a while later, I emerge from the bath, in a new state, mind-body, and soul - refreshed, and ready to take on what is next.

Questions of Contemplation:

When was the last time you treated yourself to an intentional bath?

Do you have any favorite bath time rituals you incorporate into your bath time routine?

How Music and Vibration Call Us to Action

The vibrations in music have the ability to make us feel & call us to action.

When in groups - we can’t help but smile as we sway to the beat of a familiar drum.

Growing up in San Francisco, I felt blessed to have music as an essential part of life. I remember when I was five years old walking down Mission on Cinco De Mayo in the middle of a parade. I spotted Zorro and his horse. I rushed over with my family close behind and told Zorro it was my birthday. Zorro picked me up with my mom’s approval and placed me on the horse. I became part of the parade, vibing with the music of the trumpets, tambourines, and drums. This was one of many musical experiences throughout my life.

Memories with music are always high on my list of things I recall with great fondness.

Music has the ability to transport us back in time. I often remember the smells and feelings when I hear an old song. Music can also help us heal. Whenever I am sick, I find “high vibrational healing music” on YouTube and play it. I feel it shift whatever is happening in my body.

Day to day, my family uses music for just about everything:

Ocean waves for nighttime sleep & naps

Nursery Songs for playtime with Ali

High Vibrational Music for allowing the body to be in a grounded state

Wedding Playlist we made to get in a love state

Meditation Music of all kinds for sacred time or bath time

We have Alexa set up in every room because we are huge music fans. We do have moments of no music, but it’s not too often.

Music is an exploration into ourselves and the collective. It can easily lift our mood or keep us stuck in a certain vibration.

If I am feeling low, I may try to find songs that resonate with my mood. After some time of this, I ask myself:

  • Is this a pattern?

  • When did I first hear this song?

  • Am I re-living an old memory & adding it to the current emotion?

  • Is the music how I feel or am I feeling the music?

I then see - ah, nostalgia, I am wallowing.

I realize, maybe I need to change the station and sing a new song - one of a higher vibration.

The last piece would be to honor my emotional states and know there are fluxations of highs and lows and not to get attached to any one state but remain inflow.

The music shifts our vibration & we choose the tune.

Questions to Ponder:

How do you use music in your life?

What are some fond experiences you have with music?

Do you sometimes use music to keep you in a lower vibration for nostalgia sake?

What are your high Vibe music go-to’s?
