There is nothing more healing than a high vibe bath.
Drawing a bath is an alchemical process.
When drawing a bath, the ingredients and intentions placed upon the bath are just as important as taking the time to take a bath.
Sometimes when I am at my most stressed, my husband will say, “Nina, I think you should take a bath.”
I look at him, with all my pent up energy, sigh, and say, “Your right, honey, I need a bath.”
Up to that point, I might have thought about it but resisted it in my mind.
Thinking, I am too busy and I don’t have time for it. However, when the words are spoken out loud in the voice my husband - it becomes a reason I cannot ignore.
As I prepare the bath, I go to YouTube and search for “Cleansing Meditation” or whatever beats best nurture me at the moment.
The music plays in the background, as the water begins to fill the tub.
Then is when the magic happens.
I stand over the tub and start to bring in my blessings.
I am thankful for all the blessings in my life.
I appreciate the ability to have this time to reflect.
To have this space, to nurture and heal.
I then start to put in the ingredients for my alchemical transformation - my natural detox bath:
1/4 cup Baking Soda
1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 cup of Epsom Salt
My favorite essential oils - lavender, frankincense, rose (to name a few)
I add in a few crystals - rose quartz, amethyst
I continue my blessings.
Every day is a miracle,
I constantly encounter nonstop opening doors
At this moment, I am releasing all energy not aligned with my highest purpose.
I have so much gratitude for being able to change the state of my body, by taking care of it and giving it the love and attention it needs.
As I lay back in the bath, I close my eyes and meditate.
I begin to release attachments to my thoughts and surrender in the bliss of this magical experience.
After a while later, I emerge from the bath, in a new state, mind-body, and soul - refreshed, and ready to take on what is next.
Questions of Contemplation:
When was the last time you treated yourself to an intentional bath?
Do you have any favorite bath time rituals you incorporate into your bath time routine?
